Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product did what it said it would I planted eggplants, peppers, and tomatoes using this product. I have beautiful plants. I left for Red Sox spring training for the entire month of March plus 1/2 a week in February and April. It probably helped a lot that I was using Burpee seeds. I also had some uneven soil expansion but used the product anyway and again it worked great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XL Utimate Growing System I started my pepper and tomato seeds in 2 of these trays. The plants grew well and looked great ( ready for transplant!) with minimal attention! I hope to buy soil refills for next year and reuse the trays!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good system but recommend peat pellet medium. This system grew seeds into great plants. I am glad I bought it. I was, however not pleased with the expansion of the included pellets. Some expanded better than others. So I removed them to use with potting soil and instead used large peat pellets.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good idea - could be improved on though Cool idea - great packaging. "Pellets expand in seconds" is overstating the case a bit. Yes some do, but others do not. Greenhouse dome does not fit very nicely over the planting tray. It should easily and snugly fit so the wind does not blow it off. I'm concerned that my seedlings are too wet. The expanded pellets are soggy and the seedlings appear somewhat unhealthy. I took them out of the watering tray to let them dry out a bit - hopefully, this will help.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent water/moisture control I bought one of these last year, and a second one this year. The seeds I planted in these Growing Systems had a better germination rate than my other flats or containers. The included clear cover really helps contain moisture during germination, and the bottom tray hold several days of water. They hold a lot of seedlings too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not for seeds which take a long time to germinate. I made the mistake of planting seeds with a lengthy germination time. I had a mold problem. The seeds were Impatiens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from XL Ultimate Growing System I ordered tomato plants and this growing system. I have never planted tomatoes from seed and not sure how successful it would be - so ordered plants. The plants came yesterday and your Growing System yielded 20 plants (now over 1 1/2 foot tall) - I used your tall transplant containers. The plants are fantastic - great system! I also planted squash seeds and have 10 big healthy plants! The only questions I have: 1. does the tall biodegradable containers really dissolve when you plant them, or should I remove the plant? The transplant soil from you really makes it easy to transplant. 2. What organic bug control for squash, potatoes, and tomatoes do you recommend, also need spray for fruit trees (peach & plum). Thanks
