Espoma Gro-tone is no ordinary fish fertilizer. Unlike other products, Gro-tone is derived solely from farm-raised catfish that have been fed a strict diet of grains, minerals and vitamins. The protein from these fish provide your indoor or outdoor plants some of the best nutrients needed for healthy plant growth. Concentrate may be used in drip systems, hand held sprayers or spray bottles. Feed your plants every 3-4 weeks during growing season. 16 oz.

Superb for transplantsMy tomato plants were hanging around the apartment for a week before I could get them in the ground, and needless to say, they didn't look too peppy when they were removed from their clam shells at the garden. I diluted the Gro-Tone, poured some in the holes, put the plants way down, covered them, and hoped for the best. Then, 2 days later on my next visit (we're in a community garden), they had all bolted upright! Sturdy and vigorous! And they haven't stopped yet. I have Sungolds, Napa Cherries, Big Beef, Big Boy, and Fourth of July, and they are all producing like crazy now. Last week, I had to stake down the cages because they were about to topple. Can't be sure it was the Gro-Tone, but it's the only thing that I can think of that we've done differently vs. the other the plots around us. I feed them every few weeks, with no particular discipline. A word of caution: wash out the mixing jug, because even with a little left over, the mint scent goes away and the fish smell returns. We had all sorts of microvegetation growing on the bottom of the jug by the next week.

Works Great!I began using this in a 300 square foot organic " test" garden this year. The results have been great, I have already harvested Sparkler radishes, many a good 2 1/2 to 3 inches across, Tokyo cross turnips, which did quite well, and pickling cucumbers, which are only beginning to produce, but I have already picked about 2 dozen off of 5 plants grown on a 4 foot trellis. I have a single summer squash plant which yielded about a dozen so far, although in my area there has been a severe heat wave for most of June. Using this on peppers and tomatoes too, again with good results.
I use this product along with sea magic from Burpee as a fertilizer program. Works great for organic gardeners, you should try it. This garden is completely organic no chemicals, start with manure in the dirt, worm castings and Sea magic when planting or transplanting, and then Espoma and Sea magic on a regular schedule.
