Burpee Bean & Pea Booster is rated out of 5 by 7.Rated 5 out of 5 by Borage from COOL BEANS My bush beans came up uniformly and with out any loss despite weeks of rain and cool fronts. I usually have to replant my beans if I don't wait after the april showers. The bean and pea booster saved me a lot of time and work. The left side of the photo I did not. The other soil conditions and sun conditions are the same. What is amazing is that the lettuces near the "boosted" peas are also way larger as well, which makes me wonder if this booster (Rhizobium bacteria) actually works for more than just legumes. It is a nitrogen-fixing bacteria so I would imagine that it does work well for other plants, or perhaps just other plants near peas that have been "boosted".Date published: 2015-04-25Rated 4 out of 5 by BGarfield from Burpee Booster I just planted my Ruby Corn and Kentucky Wonder Pole Beans (together) and added the Booster. I planted the beans right next to the corn so that the beans will have a natural trellis to grow up.Date published: 2015-01-30Rated 5 out of 5 by Donna64801 from Hamburger size tomatoes These tomatoes are wonderful. I bought 6 plants, and my husband and I had large sweet tomatoes all summer and some to give away. One plant seemed to do much better than the others, not sure why. They were very large , perhaps 4" across, very heavy (a hand full), sweet. As the weather grew hotter, the leaves began to curl up and die. As it cooled off we had more come on, but not as nice as the first ones in mid-July. I will be ordering more of these for Summer of 2015Date published: 2014-09-06Rated 2 out of 5 by hobbygarden from Not Impressed Noted about 20% reduction in plants that sprouted and matured. Each plant produced yields similar to prior years. Planted a 20' row of "super snappy bush peas" 3/25/11. Peas started producing 5/31/11. Heavy rains and cool weather again this spring.Date published: 2011-06-01Rated 5 out of 5 by LakeErieGarden from My only 5 leaves rated product (so far) I don't think I have given a "five leaf" rating to any vegetable or herb as there is always something. Some things are a 5 for taste but only a 3 or 4 for productivity. Well I started using this about two years ago after growing peas and beans for years with decent to great productivity but this stuff really, really helps boost it just as it says it does. My pea plants and beans would be productive but this stuff turns productive into loaded. I soak the beans and peas in warm water then roll them around in this stuff to coat them, plant them with a little more sprinkled in and BAM! It is really pretty cheap too for what you get. I buy the little package off the Burpee rack and it is more than sufficient for the home gardener.Date published: 2008-04-05Rated 5 out of 5 by Docsox from Booster Results Phenomenal results with peanuts, English Peas, and Fordhooks.
