Kitchen Compost Pail is rated out of 5 by 5.Rated 5 out of 5 by Rusty from Strong & Practical I just love this compost pail, which sits under my kitchen sink. While not as cute as the bamboo pail I received as a gift (which didn't last 5 months), this sturdy plastic pail holds up to a week's worth of food scraps. without any smell.Date published: 2015-03-14Rated 5 out of 5 by GoatFarmer from Kitchen Compost Pail LOVE LOVE LOVE this compost pail. I put absolutely EVERYTHING in it. NO ODOR! I've even waited several days to take it outside to the outdoor compost with no odor. Must be sure to replace the filters but they even last longer than a month. SO if you are undecided...go for it! You will be glad you bought it.Date published: 2012-01-15Rated 5 out of 5 by DreamingOfAutumn from Keeps out odors and fruit flies! This compost bin is great. It's the perfect size for 1 day of kitchen scraps. The cover and filter do a great job of keeping out odors. Before I got this bin I was just using a large bowl, and I kept getting fruit flies. I haven't seen one in my kitchen since I started using this. Wonderful!Date published: 2010-09-09Rated 5 out of 5 by Fisher from Very Handy This product is everything as advertised. Elimates all odors. I can verify that because everytime the lid is opened to add additional scraps to it the odor from the contents hits me right in the face :-) Very handy and attractive enough for me to leave it on the kitchen counter before moving the pail's contents to my backyard bin. I would highly recommend this product to the home garden composter.Date published: 2007-01-24Rated 5 out of 5 by Composter from I Love It! I have had this Pail for nearly a year, hiding underneath the kitchen sink. Although I am very careful not to put in any fats or onions, there is absolutely NO ODOR! I even left the pail 2/3 full for 3 months this winter (I know I know...) and while there was questionable mold and goo, there was still NO ODOR! The only drawbacks- the cover broke off pretty quickly after I got it; and it isn't that big-my household of 5 fills it up nearly every other day. But let me stress again NO ODOR- and No fruitflies!!! YeahDate published: 2006-04-18
