delightful treeThese arrived quite small and one of my two did not make it, so I will now look for a larger 'mate' for my Burpee's paw paw, but I'm delighted with this tree; thriving in my part-shade clearing, the deer leave it alone, gets lovely flowers in the spring, and so much fun to grow a native fruit tree. I recommend it.

Not happy with Paw Paw quality or selectionI also received 2 bare roots; one made it and the other didn't. Other websites show specific species names of Paw Paws, Burpee only shows Paw Paw Collection. I will be buying from another company. One root is growing well however I need another to pollinate my unknown survivor.

Paw PawI had to put rabbit wire around my plants because the rabbits were chewing off the leaves. One of the problem with starting with such small plants.

Still hopefulOne plants was shipped with little to no roots and was very dry and brittle. The other looked good. As I expected the brittle one never did anything. The other plants seems to be growing well. Followed detailed instructions on both plants.
