Sweet and delicious fruits are packed with Vitamin C.

Full Description

Cornelian Cherries have been cultivated since ancient times. They are one of the first shrubs to flower in spring and produce oblong drupe fruit in bright cherry red. Cornus mass, Elegant was selected for its flower size and fruit quality. Flowers are bright yellow and open in March for three weeks. Fruits are large, 1" long and 5/8" wide packed with Vitamin C, and perfect for syrup and preserves. No pest problems. We recommend to plant two varieties for cross-pollination and better fruit quality.

Cornelian cherry, Elegant is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from My area is too hot. I bought 3 different types of cherry plants and only 1 of them is surviving. Even though I put them in part shad/part sun, which was recommended, I think Charleston just does not have the climate for these cherries. I normally have good luck with all plants bought from you, but these just didn't work out here.
