Japanese Plum, Santa Rosa

Buy Any 3 Fruit or Berry Plants & Save 20%

Short Description

The most-widely grown plum.

Full Description

Self-fertile and a good pollinator of other plums too with firm, excellent fruits. The large fruits are an attractive, reddish-purple with bright yellow flesh. Santa Rosa is very early to harvest and one of the enduring Luther Burbank creations. Expect peak harvest in mid August. Japanese plums are a good choice in hot areas because they are able to tolerate summer heat. To ensure cross-pollination and fruiting, we recommend growing with a Ruby Queen Japanese Plum Tree. ;
