Full Description

When Cherry Met Plum: a new romance in sweet goodness. Delectable cherry-plum cross captures and fuses the fruits’ flavors into a sweet, new taste experience. Larger than a cherry, firm, sweet, succulent fruit has dark, cherry-red skin, red flesh and piquant cherry accents. Hardy, 8-10’ trees produce plentiful fruit that boast high levels of health-giving antioxidants. Great for fresh eating, or adding zest and sweet inspiration to pies or preserves. Fruit stores well. Sweet Cherry 'Nadia’ is new interspecific hybrid cross of ‘Black Amber’ plum and ‘Supreme’ cherry developed in Victoria, New South Wales, Australia. The trees require a pollinator to fruit well, preferably Japanese plum. U.S. Plant Patent #19,843.
