Early, mid- and late season blueberries for extended harvesting.
We've put all of our favorite blueberry plants in one collection for a season-long harvest and a summer filled with delicious berries. Collection includes one plant each of Bluejay, Blueray, Coville and Herbert.
Plant blueberry plants in a sunny to partially shaded area, in a well-drained, very acidic soil, with a pH of 4.2-5.2. Plant at least two different varieties for cross pollination. Set blueberry plants 4-8 feet apart (3 feet apart for hedges).
As fruit ripens, cover blueberry plants with netting to deter birds. Pick fruit promptly to discourage insects.
