Rated 3 out of 5 by from Really tiny plants! So I ordered 6 of these plants in early April. They were just received and are very small. I could not tell that they were the plant I ordered other than the tag they came with. These are annuals. I have a hard time believing that they will grow to what is in the picture before the frost kills them. Burpee should make it clear that they are selling very immature plants for this price. Most nurseries nearby are selling annuals that are flowering or near flowering for this price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sturdy plants I just received my order and I was quite impressed with the quality of my plants. They have nice, thick root-tuber things, and seem very vigorous already. Packaging was excellent and they arrived very quickly after shipping. They look like they are ready to take off growing! I have one in a (precious) sunny spot, one in a partly shaded spot, and one in a rather shaded spot. I have wanted this plant for years and I can't wait to see how it does.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful vine..Great for Austin TX!!! I love, love, LOVE this vine! I'm not a seed grower so I bought the plants. It is a vigorous growing vine with unique flowers that have a wonderful sweet scent. It loves the sun and tolerates the Texas heat with virtually no maintenance. And blooms from spring through fall! I receive so many compliments from neighbors walking by who are fascinated by the flowers. I got busy last summer and let the vine 'go' and it ended up covering my 2 car garage plus 2 windows. But is was so easy to cut back with plain kitchen scissors. One of the vines creeping up a bamboo blind which has created a "Secret fairy Garden" by my 5 yoa little girl. I highly recommend this plant.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great plant I bought a pack of seeds last year, started them iin the end of February in a pot ndoors and wanted them for the patio. Unfortunately, we had record low summer temps and many of my flowers didn't bloom because of the lack of heat and humidity. I brought the pot indoors and put it in a sunny window, and it's done great as a house plant too! I just ordered another pack of seeds and will (hopefully) add a couple more plants to the pot, for blooms this summer. Would give it the full 5 stars, but seeds a bit tricky to start. A head's up: soak the seeds in hot water for an hour or so before planting or buy the plants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from WOW! What a Great Flowering Vine. I live in the high desert, and not many plants can survive the extreme harsh weather here. It comes with three plants and was hoping that one of them would survive. One was put in the full sun and two under trees in part sun. To my surprise, all three of them are growing so well, that I am considering on purchasing an arbor for them to grow on each summer. It is a vigorous growing vine with unique flowers that have a wonderful sweet scent similar to pikake. They are a conversation piece in my garden. I will definitely purchase this each year.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful flowers I ordered three plants in July. The flowers are really popping now at the end of August. The flowers are beautiful and have a tropical look. Will order them again next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from re: disappointed I too had no germination of all seeds. I called Burpee and they were replaced. Again, I was disappointed as I had no germination with the replacements. I grew these last year with all seeds germinating with good results. I have used all the tricks as mentioned in the comments sections too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Magnificent vine and flower! A friend purchased the seeds from Burpee and asked me to grow them this spring. He knew I had grown these for years in Hawaii and thought maybe I would have better luck. All five seeds germinated fast, put pots on radiator in living room, they need bottom heat to germinate and now they are 2 feet outside. These vines love sun and heat and may not grow fast until the hot summer heat arrives so have patience and you will be rewarded. I was surprised to see they were being offered here and glad they are. Can be grow indoors if you have a sunny spot. Give it a try, well worth it.
