Blooms quickly and displays rich color well into late summer.
The true workhorse of our test gardens last summer, this Salvia farinacea continues to impress no matter the conditions. Full, branching plants come into bloom quickly and display rich color well into late summer. The large 3-4" flower spikes are awash in rich deep blue, cooling sky blue and crisp, clean white. We planted several containers of them for display around the patio and a bed of the Deep Blue in the garden bed to attract the butterflies and hummingbirds. It worked like a charm.

LovelyMy 6 plants arrived completely in full bloom and they smell nice too, they were in beautiful condition. I watered them well then placed them outside in a covered location. We planted them a week later and as I'm writing this they are all growing well on my deck. I will definitely purchase these again.

Just OKEasy to take care of. Tolerant of both heat and long lasting rain storms. Pretty color, but not as "full" as I expected. A little spindly-looking actually. This plant satisfied my desire for a blue flower, but I wouldn't buy more.
