Continuous Summer Bloom and still going for Fall!Started early spring for early blooms. Transplanted very well. I found that the red blossoms seem the hardiest to move don't know why. They do very well in dry times also.

I didn't realize it was pelletedPortulaca do great in extremely sunny dry places. But I purchased these without realizing they were pelleted. I've had non-pelleted ones before and didn't find them too difficult to sow. These pellets, strangely, seemed to germinate three seeds each, so I felt I actually had more of a spacing problem than if I'd sown bare seeds. They had excellent germination rate :P Well, Burpee also sells a non-pelleted portulaca so I'll get those this time.
