Millet, Ornamental, Jade Princess is rated 2.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Millet germination I've been growing various varieties of millet for a number of years. I think the primary reason for failure of germination is temperature. Just because the air temp is 65 and above, does not mean the ground temp is warm enough. Starting in about mid April, I lay out black plastic where I will be planting warm weather plants, so by the time the air temp is consistently warm enough for millet, the ground temp is even warmer. Out of every 25 seeds I plant, it is vary rare that less than 23-24 germinate. I've always had success with Burpee seeds.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beautiful - poor germination Second year growing. Very poor germination first year. Seeds that did germinate grew well and were a hit in the garden last year. Took a chance again and purchased three packets of seed this year. There was actually 8 to 9 seeds per packet. But only a total of four seeds germinated. Very disappointed. Had hoped to expand presence in the garden, but now will be less. Beauty ranks a 5, but no germination equals no beauty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Jade Millet I had hard time getting the Jade Princess started (indoors with a heating pad and plant lights), but once they took hold and were transplated outside, wow, what a sight they were. Truly amazing! I'm trying Jade Princess again this year, only more of them! (: )
