Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous Blooms! I was intimidated at the thought of growing these but my plants from Burpee arrived in perfect condition. They do bloom a little later but they are well worth the wait, you end up with florist grade flowers in your back yard. Order collections because you will regret not getting more by the time you see the blooms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Summer Bloomer for English Cottage Style Garden I have an English Cottage style garden and these are a perfect addition. They are beautiful! Most of the flowers I grow bloom in the Spring so these are great to have blooming in the summer time. The weather here has been very hot (90 - 100 degrees) and these flowers don't mind at all (you have to water of course but they don't wilt at all from the heat). I also planted the Blue Rose Lisianthus and they worked just as well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing performers Most of the plants arrived in great condition, although a few were wilted and dying. However, nearly all of them revived once I planted them, and the remaining ones made up for any losses. As other reviewers have noted, these are mid-to-late summer bloomers, so patience is required on the front end--plan to enjoy them along with your late summer/fall cutting flowers. I had them in containers and planted them quite close together. Once they started blooming, I was able to cut a lovely bouquet every couple of days. They did need staking. Regarding water habits, I accidentally forgot to drill holes in the bottom of the container I used, and didn't realize it for a long time. So the pots were not draining at all for half of the blooming season. Of course I felt like an idiot...the sogginess would have certainly killed many other types of plants, but these lisianthus seemed completely unaffected! I will order these again and take a little more care, and I bet they will do even better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Slow to bloom These took forever to bloom but when they finally did they were really pretty. I received lots of compliments on them. Once they got going they bloomed late into Oct.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these lisianthus I bought 36 assorted lisianthus this year so that I would have plenty for cutting. They are performing above my expectations and I will be increasing the number I plant next year.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not Worth Money Bought these flowers last year babied them all summer and they were a waste of money. ..Fertilized when needed could barely get to bloom. They surely didnt look like the nice pictures on the website...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply gorgeous It's not noted in the product description -- although other reviewers have mentioned it -- but these flowers are definitely mid-summer bloomers. Mine are just now opening (it's mid-July). I'll admit to having my patience tested :) , but I can tell you that they are worth the wait (see my photos of these beauties). Due to some unforeseen animal traffic, I had to relocate the plants to a container, where they are thriving wonderfully. The relocation worked out for the best, because the other plants I had in that bed have been blooming since early June, and these plants were starting to create a green "hole" among them. So, next year, I'll plan better -- and I *will* be ordering them again next year, if available -- so that I can maximize their beauty. They're slow growers, but even the plants themselves have an interesting growth habit, and deserve a showcase of their own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply beautiful Purchased this collection in January, planted in late April. Took nearly two months for blooms, but once they got going, they bloomed steadily all summer. Every plant is still producing heavy blooms in October (zone 5). I don't recall reading anything in the description about drought-tolerance, but I don't know that I watered them once all summer, and they never so much as wilted. Cuttings last between a week and two weeks if you change the water every few days. These flowers got more compliments than anything else in the garden. Definitely worth the price.
