Introducing a breakthrough in Dutch gladiolus in shades of yellow, red, purple and white. Growing just 24" tall, the Glaminis bloom earlier and longer, producing 8" full size flowers for 18 days or more. Stunning cut flowers.
Select a sunny site or container with good drainage protected from wind. Feed gladiolus bulbs regularly during the summer. In the fall, before frost, move indoors, stop watering and store dry at room temperature. When dormant under these conditions, the leaves will die down and no light is required. The following spring, repot and divide if necessary. Plant bulbs 3-5", spaced 6" apart.
Harvesting Gladiolus (bulbs)
Harvest gladiolus flowers when 1-5 buds show color. Perennial in Zones 8-10 only, dig and winter store gladiolus bulbs in colder climates.
