Fillers For Your Containers

Fillers are planted around the thriller. They add mass and texture to the container and also hide the lower less astrictive parts of the thriller, like the stems. A filler can be used as a color counterpoint and, as the name implies, they "fill up" the container. Annuals are the best plants to use for a color effect, and for texture select varieties that will add contrast.
