How to Grow Caladium Bulbs
Plant caladium bulbs outdoors after last frost, in shade to part shade, or in pots indoors 4 weeks before last spring frost. Select a site or container with good drainage. Feed regularly during the summer. In the fall, before frost, move indoors, stop watering and store dry at room temperature. When dormant under these conditions, the leaves will die down and no light is required. The following spring, repot and divide if necessary. Plant 1" deep, spaced 8" apart.
