Pretty, indestructible: The beauty for beastly conditions.
Produces a magnificent purple splash of impressionist color from the bountiful, beauteous deep-rose flowers with black throats. This gorgeous angelonia is tough, requiring minimal upkeep;a fine choice for areas with hot and humid night temperatures that will do well in northern areas too.

Angelonia, Serenita Raspberry is rated out of 5 by 3.Rated 1 out of 5 by KatMIdwestZone6 from Not a thriver I received the 10 tiny pelleted seeds. Only 2 sprouted and one died within a few days. The final seed that sprouted held on to its tiny leaves for maybe 2 weeks then shriveled up. Not a plant to grow from seed easily. I'm not an expert, but I have grown a variety of plants from seed and this one is finicky.Date published: 2014-05-26Rated 4 out of 5 by GRAMMIEBUD from Beautiful little plant Only 10 pelleted seeds come in the packet, and only two sprouted, but they are well worth it. I do hope that my plants go to seed. Just a pretty spot of color in an empty space. Definitely hardy and well suited for SE North Carolina. No bugs. No disease. No fungus.Date published: 2013-09-05Rated 5 out of 5 by OrchidJim from Best annual ever I grew Angelonia Serenita Raspberry for the first time in 2012 and wow what a performer. It started out great with 100% germination. An unexpected bonus was a very tidy habit from first transplanting to removal in the fall. It was in bloom from early July to October and never needed a bit of special attention. We had record breaking heat and a nasty drought this year but Angelonia never flinched.Date published: 2012-10-03
