This refers to whether the seed should be sown early indoors and the seedlings transplanted outside later, or if the seed should be sown directly in the garden at the recommended planting time.

Ammi Majus, Queen Anne's LaceIi planted the seeds right after I received them in the spring and they did not come up.
I really wanted to have some Queen Anne's Lace growing in my flower beds to help with filler when I make flower arrangements for church.

Queen Anne's Lace did not meet expectationsI planted the seeds, watered, etc and etc. I have been gardening for 50 years, and have always had Queen Annes Lace coming up everywhere. we recently moved and I ordered these seeds. only one plant came up, grew nicely to about 12" high, then
promptly died! very odd. everything around it grew and flowered as usual. I have no idea what happened to these seeds.......I could find no traces of anymore plants anywhere!

A good butterfly attractantVery hardy, easy to grow. If you want butterflies, it will attract Black Swallowtails. The caterpillars are green with orange & yellow stripes. The flowers are best left on the plant, as they shed something awful when cut & put in a vase. The dried flower heads are interesting in dried arrangements.
