Sow in average, well-drained soil in full sun in spring after danger of heavy frost. Sow seeds evenly and thinly and cover with 1/4" of fine soil. Firm lightly and keep evenly moist.

Seedlings emerge in 14-21 days. Thin to stand about 16" apart Starting when seedlings are large enough to handle.
Use the anise-flavored leaves and flowers as a seasoning or to make a tea. Agastache flowers also attract many interesting insects, including honeybees. You can also use them to make a beautiful fresh or dry arrangement.
