Anemone Tubers and Plants

Anemone varieties come in three groups: A. blanda, A. nemorosa and A. coronaria.  These graceful plants add elegance to perennial gardens, woodland plantings, and shrub borders in fall. A. blanda and A. nemorosa are tuberous-rooted plants that bloom in early spring, and A. coronaria are tender perennial plants blooming all summer long. Their blooms resemble fully open poppy flowers, on long, waving stems that seem to be in constant motion.
