Before we got out Hybrid I was bothered by gophers, deer, bunnies you name it I had them. Once the dog started spending time outside with me gardening the culprits disappeared. My brother inlaw had a racoon and a marmute type of animal that was snitching and destroying his gardens so I brushed the dog and sent him some hair and problem was taken care of. Hope you can try this.

<![CDATA[Re: Squirrels in the Garden]]> http://www.burpee.com/community/discussion/678/squirrels-in-the-garden?commentid=2034 We had the same problem but we put a fence all around the garden & made sure the base was high & put screening all around

that seemed to help also we used horse manure to fertizler the garden before planting so maybe that helped as we had a

great crop this year & still getting tomatoes.
