Perennials

Perennial flowers are always something to look forward to year after year!  There are so many gorgeous varieties to choose from it's hard to pick a favorite.  At least we think it's a tough decision!

What are some perennials that you love seeing come up each year that you never get tired of?

Have you tried planting any new ones this year?  If so- what did you go with?

Re: Perennials

i really love hostas.  we had some in our front garden that have gotten a bit overgrown by english ivy.  i think they are still alive under there.  how do i know they are alive and what can i do to help them thrive like they used to?  or....should i just start over?  this would be sad, but if i have to i have to, right?

Tulips!  Even though planting many bulbs can be tedious, they are worth it when they start to come up in the spring!  Plus, once planted they are pretty low-maintenance.

My shade-tolerant azaleas also put on a beautiful display each May.
