The info in the first post is exactly what you need to do.  We just bought our retirement home, which is on totally clay soil.  I could afford to bring in good topsoil for our garden site and also amended with "garden soil" and compost, plus a natural fertilizer with beneficial bacteria and fungi, which fertilizes and also gives the soil more of what is already there. Our garden produced like it was on steroids.  Yours can also.

Zafooo, you really need to think about  improving your garden soil.  Not only is the yield better but the plants are more resistance to insects and disease.  Adding organic matter is the best way to improve your soil.  Another way to go is a raised bed system.

You might be able to grow some salad greens and maybe some summer squash. If the soil is well drained you can grow herbs like oregano, parsley, sage and thyme.
