I also had some sort of worm that got to my melons and once they were interested, I never got another un-affected fruit for the rest of the season. I really don't want to use pesticides, but I also don't want to give up my gardening efforts to these pests! Suggestions are very much welcome!

I found some sort of maggots inside my Bell Peppers. Plants did not produce well, and Bells were mostly destroyed. I believe some type of flies were laying there eggs on top of the Peppers and the Maggots bored inside. I had planted 21 Bell Pepper Plants. Maybe Harvested 10 Peppers. Not sure if a biological remedy exist. I may cover plants next year and hand pollinate. I refuse to spray anything in my Garden so row covers are a great alternative.
