preparing for the insect onslaught in the northeast

apparently the incredibly mild winter is going to cause a major boom in the insect population. i'm not taking any chances this year, i am covering everything with summer weight pest control fabric. how's everyone else coping?

Fabric covers are quite effective  for the control of cucumber beetles as well as other insects . The insects can’t get through the cover to snack on your plants. Drape the cover over the plants , allowing plenty of growing room and secure the edges with pins, boards or sol. Remember to remove the cover when the plant are in bloom so the bees can pollinate the flowers.
