Get rid of the aphids by spraying the tomatoes with insecticidal soap.  Ants do not like the smell of mint, cloves, camphor and hot peppers you can sprinkle the spices around (not on) the plants. Ants do not like mint and pennyroyal so planting these herbs in the garden helps to deter ants.  Contact your local county extension service for  other recommendations for your area.
