That would depend on how old the plants are when you get them and how soon you get them in the ground.  I'm pretty sure we planted ours in the fall so had them the following year.  We also had cuttings from a well established raspberry patch which may have made a difference.

Raspberry usually bear the second year. If it does flower the first year it is better to remove the flower to keep the strength into the plant.
