pollinattion of tomatoes by hand

No bees in my garden this year. I have been using an artists brush to replace the bees but this is quite a chore. Any ideas?

yeah we had problems with that a good way to get pollinators is to start a compost pile with a lot of nector fruit peelings (kiwi, mango , apple, organge etc) and next to the pile dig a small shallow hole something like 6 inches wide and 3 inches deep put a hole-less pieace of plastic over it put a few small stones in it and fill it with water and wait at least for us they just show up in about 1-2 weeks. or and if moquitos are a problem just emty the water hole every 3 days and then re-fill it

If you can, plant daisy flowers to attack more bees to your garden. Hand pollination is tricky. You want to pollinate during the hottest part of the day to ensure the pollen is ripe. Use a paintbrush, brush around the outside of the flower to pick up the pollen and then brush on the stigma to deposit the pollen.
