Hot from Facebook: Storing Seeds Until Spring
Thank you Susanne Shelton for posting this question to our Burpee Home Gardens Facebook page:

"Hi Burpee! I purchased some wonderful packages of wildflower seeds.  I would like to store these and see if they will sprout in the spring.  Is this possible and if so what would be the most effective way for me to store them?"

Answer

You can store the seeds by keeping them in a Ziploc bag and keep them in the fridge, or just a cool and dry place.  It depends on the seed but most seed, if stored properly, should last a few years.  The germination rate may go down, though.  Hope that helps!
