sweet pepper plants

Last summer the drought  was something else.   With city water most of my garden was so-so.  My sweet pepper plants were horrible.  The leaves were waffled and the small fruit was pebbled.   This type of plant has always been very durible before.  The plants were caged and well mulched.  What caused all of this.

Re: sweet pepper plants

Hello, fortunately we had a more mild summer last year here in Bonita, Ca. I only grew one green pepper plant that I bought at Lowes. I harvested peppers but didn't like them. They were very thin walled and tasteless. This year I ordered the sweet tangerine pepper from Burpee . They grow in containers. Maybe a Burpee specialist could help you.
