I'm having a hard time getting geranium seeds to germinate. maybe its because i'm taking them out of the plant to early?

Also, at what stage should i harvest the seeds from begonias, and how do i plant those?

Re: germination

Geranium seeds germinate unevenly and can take anywhere between 21 to 45 days. They must be started inside 10 weeks before the lat frost date. Plant the seeds in a seed starting tray and barely cover them with light soil. They germinate best and 70-75 degrees and benefit from bottom heat. Keep the soil evenly moist but not wet. Make sure the seedlings are getting plenty of light. Geraniums are only of the more tricky annuals.
