I just got a Jasmine Plant for Mother's Day-any suggestions/help

I've never had a Jasmine Plant before.  I live in Zone 6, so I think it will have to be an indoor plant for the winter.  I guess I will need to stake it, because I've read that it is a vine.  Does anyone have any other useful information that will help?

Do you have Jasminum Polyanthum the indoor vine with fragrant pink or white flowers? It is only hardy in zone 9 and 10.   It can be a fussy plant  and would prefer a greenhouse. Place the container on a  tray of damp pebbles to keep the humidity up.  It needs a bright light with at least four hours of direct sun per day.  In the spring it will need some fertilizer but not in the fall or winter. Water when dry.  It would prefer cool nights.  It is normal for the plant to lose a lot of its leaves or leaves to get crispy on the edges as it adjusts.
