Bean, Trionfo Violetto is rated out of 5 by 2.Rated 5 out of 5 by KassyKat from Great Taste and a Good Looker, too We tried this bean on a whim many years ago, and it has become a staple in our garden every year since. Not only is the bean delicious, it loks fantastic in the garden, too. Everything is purple, the bean, the vine, the leaves, and the flowers are all purple. The flowers are a lovely light purple that rivals some garden flowers. The flowers become beautiful purple beans that are so good, they are fantastic just straight up without even salt or butter. The beans turn green when cooked, but are even great raw. If you get these, you won't regret them.Date published: 2013-03-13Rated 5 out of 5 by VeggieGardener from Best Pole Bean Ever!!!! I've been growing this bean for 15 years. It's stringless and has a nutty flavor. They turn green when you steam/cook them. Easy to spot during picking and a beautiful plant to boot. Try this... you won't be sorry!Date published: 2011-05-20
