Bean, Kentucky Wonder Organic is rated out of 5 by 1.Rated 4 out of 5 by BJNPLS from Pretty good! Super yield! These are superb producers. I have found myself picking handfuls every few days off of 8 plants. If you pick them you will have a nonstop supply. It's hard to believe how fast they grow once they bloom. As for taste and consistency - as the description said - they are stringless, when young. The moment they get a larger size they have a very distinct string. Pick when young, likely even before you would think you should. The beans when small are very tender and not "waxy" but - they have to be picked young. Overall I'd say they are best if you are likely canning. I like to steam my beans and I find overall they are a bit waxy when steaming. Planted some other types of pole and bush beans a month later and will have reviews for them when they come in. Overall I do think this is a bean to have. The key is to pick young.Date published: 2015-03-16
